I supply quotations for any project on a no-obligation basis. Say you have an article that needs to be edited. You send me part or all of the draft text (or even just the total wordcount) and I tell you roughly how long I think it will take me. I can also send you a sample edited paragraph or page, so you can see whether it works for you. If you decide to go ahead, we agree either an hourly rate or a ‘whole-job’ figure. I can also ‘cap’ the hours. That means that if I go over the time estimated for the job, I don’t charge you for the additional hours. If I take less time than estimated, I only charge for the hours used.
